Cutting Boards
Solid wood cutting boards, in different sizes and shapes with a high level of uniqueness, some embellished by original homemade reparations such as metal grafts and tin patches. They can be willow, plane, beech, fir or fruitwood. Cutting boards like these were hand carved in the Balkans between 1900 and the 1960’s. They have visible signs of usage and given the porous nature of the material are not recommended for use in the preparation of foods, but solely as ornamental objects.
