Woven Glass Flasks
Glass flasks in this style are selected throughout the Balkan countryside. These products were homemade in a period spanning from 1950 to 1980 using salvaged materials. They feature a glass vessel, which can be a bottle or a flask, either mouth blown or machine made, and an elaborate and colorful woven shell. The shells were made weaving plastic cords or electrical wire (mostly coming from mining equipment and discarded telephone cables).
