Sacks

Like the fabric rolls from which they were made, these sacks come from rural Transylvania and were sewn between the 1940’s and 1970’s. Height varies between 1 meter and 1,40 meters and width form 45 to 55 cm. There is a variety of striped decorations and all-natural fabric compositions (mostly hemp, but often including percentages of cotton and linen). Plain sacks with no decoration are also available. Though these items have mostly not been used they are all washed before being presented.
